Question
This School is convenient to the NYC areaQuite BrightOther
This School is convenient to the NYC area and tends to attract inner city school graduates (Not that it is necessarily a bad thing). But the lack of quality high school education among many Vaughn College students is evident. If this school wanted to be taken seriously they would increase the entrance requirements.

The classes are super easy and was amazed at the ease of obtaining a 4.0GPA without trying. This is in contrast to my previous experience from a SUNY school.

The staff is very nice generally speaking however they are almost too accommodating and it seems the student - professor relationship would best be compared to a corporation (professors) trying to please the customer (students). Therefore, I get the feeling that the goal is not to turn out high quality individuals but rather just make money and maintain their jobs.

However, I don't think that Vaughn College wishes to become serious since they have found their niche in the market and it works for them. If they become serious they would have a hard time maintaining a student body (the profit) with degrees offerings that are either vague or highly competitive with other better well established schools that they would never stand a chance. I can say that I just used Vaughn for what it was and moved on relying on my previous degrees from SUNY schools as the staple of my eduction.
