Manhattan College is a diversified educational institution.Education
Manhattan College is a diversified educational institution.
It offers a wide array of academic choices. The school is a place for growth intellectually, emotionally and socially.

My four years there were a foundation for my future success.
I recommend my alma mater wholeheartedly to those looking toselect a college where they can reach their potential.

Question
I think going to Manhattan College has helpedPolitical Science
I think going to Manhattan College has helped me significantly. It has a strong alumni base that goes out of its way to help students and fellow alumni, including advice on graduate schools and employment opportunities. Attending a college with such a favorable professor-student ratio, the professors know you on a first name basis. When you go to their offices during their open office hours, they know who you are and the contributions that you have made to their class. In addition, because class sizes are so small, you will almost know everybody within your major and, with the variety of clubs and organizations available, you will probably know everybody within your graduating classes (and segments of other graduating classes as well).

Question
College helped me, even though I didn't understandElectrical Engineering
College helped me, even though I didn't understand it at the time. I should have taken better care to collectfriends, acquaintences, and contacts along the way. Talk to alum and students before you commit to any school. Make sure that you are getting both information, a bedrock of values, and the "street smarts" needed in today's world. Trust you parents to have the right motivation, but not necessarily the "answers". Seek out those answers, but question the "answers" people give you. What is their motivation, bias, and what's in it for them. In today's world, you must have both real skills, information, knowledge, and some wisdom to help you know whan you really don't know something. (Think of the game show "who wants to be a millionaire") I think Manhattan is an excellent choice to give you some of all these things. Feel free to ask for help.
