There's so much toQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
There's so much to do in Vt - skiing, skating, the lake in the summer if you stay. The social life is fine, even great here. Somehow the system clicked on F for social life. I can't find how to correct it. so I submitted again.

Question
Saint Michael's was a great choice.Quite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
Saint Michael's was a great choice. There are lots of friendly students here and many of them really care about the world. If you do care, there are lots of ways to show it - a working spring break, study abroad, organizations in the community, working with faculty on research projects, etc. You can really get into projects here if you want - or not.

Saint Mike's is doing a lot to make every weekend fun. Free food and activities at all hours - lots of wings and hotdogs. Plus Burlington is a great college town and the bus to get there is free (cars allowed sophomore year). I got the 25 dollar ski pass and they now have a cultural pass which lots of people like but I didn't try. With a number of colleges nearby, there's always a party somewhere.

You should know that the college expects you to live here for four years, which is good and bad. You know you got housing (apts available for senior year) but if you want to live off-campus, it's pretty hard to convince them.

I like my classes and almost all of my teachers. The teachers here even give you their home telephone numbers! As for the catholic thing - i was a bit worried since I'm not catholic, but people here say they are more spititual than "religious" so except for having to take some religion and philosophy classes, it's not an issue to me.

Question
OK, here is the deal, Im not tryingBrightBusiness - Management and Administration
OK, here is the deal, Im not trying to be sinical I am just going to say what is on my mind from beginning to end. I toured saint Michael's on sept. 1, of 2005, after the tour I fell in love with the school. Seriouslly, I didnt even look at other colleges after that. When I got here i loved it, now i have been here for a full six months and have a few things that i think students should know before applying. My largest problem is the social scene, if you are looking for big parties than this is not the school for you. Please, take my advice, a typical weekend is getting buzzed and than going to the 300's. First of all the 300's are over rated, its upperclass students dancing on tables. Also, there are at the most 50 people at the party. the biggest problem if you go to these parties you have to bring your own beer!!!!! If this is not a big deal to the people that are not in college, it will be. I mean what i am saying and am sorry that it took so long for me to explain the social life is lower than the B- that it is given. I may trasfer....i actually have the forms but arent sure if i will go through with it. I went to see my sister at St. Lawrence and had a blast. look at SLU before saint mikes. thanks for reading this whole thing if you got to this part and best of luck with your decision on a college.
