St. Michael's College is a great school withQuite BrightBiology
St. Michael's College is a great school with a lot to offer. The only reason I say I would have chosen to go to another school is because I would have liked to get away from my home town. The St. Michael's Biology department has been wonderful and really has helped me to achieve many goals and leave with many goals for my future. I feel well prepared to take on a career in the health profession and have found that the student-mentor relationships that I have formed with my professors have been extremely valuable and helped me to grow as both a student and an adult. They are always available and most seem entirely committed to your success.

Question
The sense of community at Saint Michael's isQuite BrightBiology
The sense of community at Saint Michael's is unreal. These past few years, our community was plagued by illness and, unfortunately, a few deaths. Everyone belonging to the Saint Michael's community (faculty, staff, and students) banded together to help each other in the rough times. As for academics, the professors are very helpful. They try their best to get to know each and every one of their students. Because of the relatively small class sizes, there is less distraction in the classroom.

Question
The community atmosphere at St.Quite BrightBiology
The community atmosphere at St. Mike's is awesome. People are friendly, there's always something to do either on campus or in the surrounding area. How much fun you have really depends on how much you want to get involved and there are a whole variety of different activities from the Founders Society who give tours to perspectives to volunteering on Fire and Rescue to volunteering with the MOVE program. I would definitly recommend participating in a MOVE program and if you can go on an extended service trip! The faculty at the school are great. They are hired to teach. Research is a second priority. Most of the faculty are extrememly invested in a students learning and teaching a person how to think critically. I've had professors who have given out their home phone number in case you need to get ahold of them. I have never had a class where a professor did not know my name, even if it was just a liberal studies requirement class. In fact, I've seen progfessors who are really good with names have everyone's names down in 2 weeks.
