I could not be happier with my decisionQuite BrightBiology
I could not be happier with my decision to attend SMC. I have enjoyed all my classes, learned a lot, and know I will continue to learn during my next 3 years here. I am really glad I decided to attend SMC because it's a liberal arts college, and will provide me with a well rounded education. Taking classes in the liberal arts, even though I am a Biology major, has really improved my writing and communication. My professors have all been awesome, and are always willing to help and answer my questions outside of class. I have especially had a great experience in the Biology department. Professors here really want you to succeed, and if you seek their help they will be more than happy to give it to you. I've also formed great personal relationships with my professors, because they're friendly people. You're definitely not a "number" here. As a small college, the SMC community is really close. Everyone is very friendly, and as a first year I have never felt snubbed by upperclassmen. A great way to meet other people is to get involved in clubs, as the majority of students participate in some kind of extracurricular activity. It's really easy to get involved here, and there is definitely something that will interest everyone.

Question
I am a business major with a sociologyQuite BrightBusiness - Management and Administration
I am a business major with a sociology double major. If you are thinking about going to SMC it is important to note that although the teachers are WONDERFUL it is not a business accreddited school. If you are really really into just business/accounting I would go to a school like Babson or Clarkson.I chose to go here due to scholarships and because I wanted to double major and take liberal studies classes. The building are not perfect but note that SMC puts their money into the students education and happiness rather than fixing trival aspects of the buildings. That being said, none of the buildings are run-down or gross. They are just older buildings. (I hear they are building a new gym!) Burlington is a wonderful little city and has been rated the cleanest in the nation. Students spend lots of winter time at local ski mountains. Activities and clubs are really easy to get involved in. SMC faculty and students send regular emails with a list of upcoming activities.

Question
Look Saint Michael's is trash. Not so brightBusiness - Management and Administration
Look Saint Michael's is trash. If your a minority like me, you would never fit in here. If you like big parties, don't come here, cos all the people here just like to stand outside and talk. It's a big ass high school, where everybody gets into anybody's business even though they should't be. It's just full of snotty rich kids who think they are all that, but have not seen anything at all.
