Berkeley is a great school for those who are willing to challenge themselves intellectually. Compared to other schools (UCD, UCLA, CSULB, UCI, Stanford) I've visited, the student population is friendlier. Almost everyone is incredibly bright and discussions in class are enlightening and productive (I have a Liberal Arts bias of course). A typical day of school may include acapella groups singing in Sproul, an affirmative action protest, guys playing frisbee on Memorial Glade, and local elementary school students touring campus. |
