I really enjoyed my experience at Penn State. The campus is big and beautiful, and I had a real sense of community despite its large size. The library and computer facilities are first rate, and the residence halls are a good value for the money.

The key to success here is to get involved. There are lots of clubs and activities to choose from, and they cover any interest you can think of. The happiest students are those who get involved!

The professors are serious about their work, and most are more than willing to spend extra time with a student who needs extra help. This is true even in the large lecture classes! All you have to do is ask.

The campus and the surrounding town are a student's dream. Unlike some other schools, you really don't feel a division between the campus and the town. The only real issue is parking. Several developers built student apartment complexes that do not have sufficient parking. The town is mostly to blame for this, since they have an ordinance that allows developers to contribute to a fund to build parking garages in lieu of building parking for their high-rise buildings. Other than that, the town loves us!

I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
