After completing a double degree in only three and a half years it has become more evident to me the great education that I recieved. The professors are more than willing to help you at any time of the night or day and they care about how you as a person. They are willing to help you not only with classes but life issues as well. They also want you to have the best that you can get. It was with the help of two of my professors that I recieved a summer internship at Penn State the summer before my senior year. PCC could not offer me the research opportunity that I desired so the professor helped me to seek out the opportunity else where. Also, the students at PCC are very friendly and I found it very hard to leave all of the people that I had become friends with in my short time at PCC. The beach is an added bonus. Pensacola beach is only 30 min. from campus and is a favorite gathering spot for many of the students. Not only does PCC want the students to have a good education in their desired profession but they also seek to teach the students about the Arts. The college offers excellent concerts for the students to attend as well as art exhibits. Church is a major part of PCC and it is a favor activity of most students. Students are required to attend church Sunday morning, night and wednesday night. Although they are required to attend it never seems like a chore with the great preaching of Pastor Schetller and all of the guest speakers. Students must also attend chapel monday, tuesday, thursday, and friday. Chapel is another great time to hear the wonderful preaching of God's Word. There are many more great things about PCC that I could mention but these are just a few. Please look into PCC as a possible place to further your education. You will not regret it!! |
