At PCC (just like everywhere else) it seems there are two types of people, those that are going to get somethng done, and those that are just going to blame their problems on everybody. I went through there and it was tough let me tell you, yeah there are rules, and they are pervasive, but by the time you leave that place you have an excellent knowledge of your chosen field of work and you have the mental and physical discipline that so many people seem to lack today in the workplace. Basically you end up being someone who can get the job done, that's what bosses want, not excuses. I hire and fire based on that, I don't have time to hear whining, I want results. Thats how I got to where I am, thats what my company wants, that's what people have to deliver in my workplace. It's easy to be mediocre, and there are plenty of those types graduating today from the 'top universities' who in my experience have been the ones who can't think creatively because they don't know the basics well enough. In my opinion what has been achieved in my life is directly related to my suprise choice to attend PCC rather than the original university I would have attended in Mass. If your thinking of going to PCC don't go there if you want an easy go at it and you want 'to be who you are'. I heard plenty of drop-outs say that. Like I said it's easy to be mediocre. If you are a hard worker and you can be flexible enought to follow the rules in order to get by this is an outstanding college to attend for engineering or nursing as well as business. I have yet to run into a problem becasue it was unaccredited. I have travelled throughout the world working in different places and doing post-graduate work and have still to be set back because of the accredidation status. If you are willing to trust in the Lord, this is the place for you!
