True, there is not much of a night life here, but it is compensated by what A&M offers in student activities. Given the chance to leave, I chose to stay on and I'm quite happy with my decision. I've met a lot of people here from different countries, so don't think this campus is strictly WASPish. It's up to you to approach new things and ideas and they're here if you're interested. It's true about the "Aggie Community" here, anywhere you go you can count on a fellow Ag to help you out. You'll really get a dose of it at football games and Midnight Yell. That's the main reason I decided to stay here—I've been bleeding maroon since elementary school!Schoolwise, they'll make you work for your grades and to get into the different colleges is getting increasingly more competitive. I've managed to keep a good GPA by learning how to manage my time and going to study groups -but I have not sacrificed a personal life either! Gig'em Ags!!Class of 2001 |
