PCC is a very good college. Rules are everywhere; you must learn to live with them. Usually, those who already have problems submitting to authority will not make it at PCC. College taught me that my education depended solely on me - no one else. If you can self-study, you will do well in ANY college you choose. Dorm life will will teach you how to live with and get along with others - especially from other geographical regions. Social skills are necessary; friends are important. PCC does have a rep. of being the "friendliest" campus. Did I agree with everything there? NO. But, I learned that you can't agree with everything or everyone. I got my degree and left; no sense complaining about what you can't change. Get what you can in your education, and leave the rest behind. I find it interesting the negative reviews by alumni. Ask yourself, why they stayed if they hated it so much? And, by the way, don't be afraid if you find yourself doing something later in life that you didn't study for. Statistics show that 75% or more college students change their majors AT LEAST ONCE before graduation. College should teach you how to organize, prioritize and work. Enjoy this time of your life. It will never come again. You have much to learn and look forward to!!
