CMU is an excellent place to get an education, especially if you're an engineer. The academics are comparable to MIT, except MIT is more well-known so it gets more publicity. I like CMU's interdisciplinary approach to learning. There are no bounds. Freshman can aid research teams in cutting edge projects, etc. Aside from academics, CMU has a very diverse and friendly student population. There's always something to do. People seem extremely approachable, except for some stuck up "yuppies" but every school has those… CMU has something for everyone. The campus is pretty nice.. the feel of a green college campus but in the middle of a major city with so much to do and explore. CMU's facilities are very nice and modern. I highly recommend this place! P.S. only CMU has buggy :-) |
