Bucknell has a quality reputation and that increases the value of my degree. My education there was outstanding, both academically and character-wise. The faculty are very involved with the students and there are tons of activities in which to get involved. My only regret is that I did not participate in a study abroad program. For current high school students, I would highly recommend Bucknell. But for those who are spoiled with constant entertainment, they will likely be unsatisfied with a rural school. Cultural and outdoor activities abound for those who are motivated to participate. Bucknell's strongest asset is it's students, both in terms of character and intellect. Of course, every school has self-serving students who can't seem to spend their time usefully, but on-the-whole, Bucknell students are a great group of people who sincerely want to make life better for others. |
