Georgia Tech isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It is a hard school, that's true, but that's exactly what you should expect. You'll get one of the best educations you can if you come here for the right reasons (i.e., not if you're a STaC major, etc.). It's a lot more affordable than exclusively private universities, but it does suffer from some misallocations of funds. There is constantly construction being done, but nothing seems to get better aesthetically. There is stuff to do on the weekend, but you should probably pledge greek if you really want to enjoy yourself. And there's always studying, which you'll need to do a lot of. If you're a girl you should keep in mind that the ratio isn't everything. As they say: the odds may be good, but the goods are odd. |
