I found the faculty in the English Literature and Writing programs to be well-informed and fully engaged professionals who gave freely of their time when asked. I received fine instruction as well as a high level of inspiration during my time in the PhD program. Obviously, as a graduate student I approached my work with a higher level of involvement and expectation than many undergraduates, but the education I acquired at UNT has served me well, both as an educator and as a publishing writer. The English faculty has several stellar heavy-hitters, as well as some less-well-known members who are going to make serious names for themselves in the near future. |
