I attended PCC for two years and cannot say that it was a valuable experience. The philosphy on the organization is not conducive to developing young Christian peopl einto effective contributign memebrs of society. The exception is for those it selects to add to it's staff. I remeber having a roomate who's parents were on staff at PCC. He was required to work for the college while he was in high school if he wanted to live in his parent's home. HE also could not live with his parents after high school if he didn't work for PCC. It was extrememly socialist, in my opinion.

The issue of pysical contact with the opposite sex is also a major problem Really, is it a bad idea to let young comples go on dates and do the norma things young decent couples do - I don't htink so. I have to say I saw more than one couple go wild over break becuase they culdn't do anything at school. COllege kids have sex, you can't stop that. And I know they're having sex on the PCCcampus now - I know I did. Iand ya know what? I never got caught!

If you're planning to work for PCC or a strickly separatist christian instituation that loves PCC - then go here. If you're going to work in the real world, outside of a christian organization. You're just asking for a life of hardache and internal conflict matriculating at PCC.

If you're young and healthy, go somewhere you can explore an education and you spirituallity and practive the morality your faith requires at your own pace. Sure you'l make mistakes. Maybe you'll sleep with pepople you regret sleeping with, maybe you'll get drunk and never be able to stand the smell of rum again. Neither of these things will kill you if you're a smart person. Making the decision not to attend PCC is the first indication of your intelligence. If you can't see the logic in this thinking, then sign on the line and follow the path they lay for you.
