A great place to surround yourself with knowledge and improve yourself in many ways. Don't go here to be entertained. You will get a ton of work, but its all good in the hood. The advent of laptops everywhere has allowed some students to enjoy the outdoors. Some students' idea of getting outside is to have a network game outside. You can only laugh. This is made possible because of the plethora of laptops and hubs. Greek life is pretty big, as is the ratio of frats to sororities. At RPI you are surrounded by geeks and nerds but don't let that fool you. More students are involved in a sport than aren't. Some crazy a$$ stuff goes on in Troy on any given Friday. There are actually some girls, but they aren't always distinguishable from the guys. Still better than RIT though. |
