Well, I suggest everyone to think twice before accepting to attend Brown University. I attended the school for two years and had a blast of a time, however it seemed to me that the student body had worked quite hard in high school and believed college was now a time to have fun and slack off—the lack of a core curriculm encourages this type of behavior as well. And sure its an Ivy League education…but in all honesty, most people want to go to the Ivy League in order to receive a strong name on their diploma and to have the opportunity to earn a six figure salary after they graduate. For those with that type of ambition, to enter the business world and become economically stable after graduation—Brown is not for you. I decided to transfer to Princeton, which I found to be perfect and the school is the reason I have my dream job, nice car and a beautiful apartment in New York City and I'm only 24 years old. Brown students tend to loiter after graduation, because employers do know that a school like Brown isn't as high caliber academically and the students aren't as ambitious as other schools. Most of my friends from Brown are still living at home with their parents and some are looking to become school teachers since they haven't been able to find a decent job. But Princeton is the ticket to success, I'd say Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth and Stanford are the best schools to go to if you want to mint money after graduation. Brown is good socially though, but not good enough as the cost you will pay at having attended there.
