Great school that has competitive out of state tuition to many in-state rates in the region. Also, Newark and the surrounding community has a lot to offer as a city, there's more to it than just Main Street. As for safety and policing, the cops spend too much time curbing underage (and excessive) drinking than stopping real crime like robbery and burglary. Finally, if you do go to UD, STUDY ABROAD!! They offer 40+ programs a year in the winter, spring, summer, and fall.
