Barnard has had a great influence on the things that I have done since college, including the choice to pursue a graduate degree. You will find that Barnard offers a very unique experience for its undergraduate women. Students, for the most part, are a serious and diverse group of women, and Barnard, aided by its location, has a tremendous amount of opportunities for students to gain experience in a diverse selection of careers and other activities. (Be aware though, that you will likely not be sought out. The opportunities and guidance are there for students, only if they look for them.) |
