You go to orientation and come out of it thinking "hey this doesnt sound too bad," well, after about 2 months you realize how much this place sucks. The dorms smell like crap, theres nothing to do, the dining hall food is nasty, the professors are cocky, and so much more. I really dont see whats all that great about this school. The professors seem to think that they are so great, and i'm sure they all know their subjects well, but i think they are here more because they wanna do research at a great research institution rather than to teach. Some of them could really care less about helping students. Living on campus aint all that great either. The dorm rooms are small like hell and the whole buildings smell like crap. And I get sick at least once every 2 weeks from the dining hall food. Theres nothing to do on campus when your not spending your time studying either. Before you set your heart out on coming here, make sure you think hard about how you want your life to be for the next 4 (or 5 in many cases) years. |
