As a graduate student, I must say that my relationships with my professors have truly been one of the greatest benefits of my K experience. Not simply for having good letters of reccomendation, but moreover for the role they played in helping me discover my own strenghts, weaknesses, and personal research interests. As a graduate studdet in a program quite different from my actual undergraduate major, I was nonetheless pleasently surprised to find myself as prepared if not more so than many of my fellow students. I truly love K' but also recognize that it is not the right school for everyone. To suceed both socially and intellectually it helps to be open to new experiences and open minded, though you do not have to be liberal. Intellectual curiosity is a must and while it is not necessary to be super brillliant, a willingness to work hard is a definite requirement. Last, K' is a fantastic place full of opportunities, but it is ultimately up to you to take advantage of the experiences K' offers. |
