Although I am not academically challeged…at all…ASU has been awesome to me. I would re-chose the college a thousand times if I had the chance. I have transferred from the drug scene to the alcohol scene to the Christian scene to the "smart-people" scene. There are great people in all of them. Just keep one thing in mind when you are chosing an college to attend, when you get out, employeers aren't looking for unpersonable, narrow-minded, intellects. They are looking for someone who is able to learn, adapt, listen, and advise. I think that's the most important thing you can learn in college. Just keep your mind open, and enjoy. Remember life is not a race. As far as being "just a number" in a large university, I think ASU does a wonderful job of giving as much personal exposure as possible. If you want it, there are faculty and staff to help you get it. Don't be afraid to approach your professors, I think most people just assume that professors don't have time for them…it's usually not true. Good luck. |
