I will be starting in the CIS program September of this year. My impression of Devry so far is not very pleasing, the cost to attend this university would be disccouraging expect for the fact that I want a great education and I want to attend a school that caters to working professional, wich should reduce my stress while going to school. Devry is a very questionable institution, the staff and the undelying and sometime obvious impression is that this school is more interested in the money that each head count brings that the students themselves. Most reviews that I recieve from friends and even professionals are either reserverd about my choice of schooling or just laughter and disapproval, why? I do not understand. Devry tries to sell themselves as a state if the art school and best choice for your education, I am wondering if this school is merly good and what it does and that is selling. I took a lot of thought and I do mean alot to choose my next choice of education and I am praying that I made the right choice dispite what others may say. Devry gives the impression that they are not aware of what each administrative department does and that could be very stressful and agonizing for the students, my point lies in the fact that Devry sends massive correspoonding mail to students containing the same information, this allows me to thing that I am not of importance and Devry does not know who I am or where I stand in the school, very unprofessional and discouraging. I could rant on about my future university but I will wait until I am there and then I will know what to do, less talk and more action. Devry pormises more but in fact deliveres less… this could change if this school prdes itself on what it sells.
