My four years at Madison were the best years of my life in every aspect, socially, culturally, intellectually and physically. The town of Madison has this certain aura about it, it's a feeling of a town that will live in the hearts of graduates forever and leave them with a close-knit camaraderie although they are from such a large school. The only negative now may be the cost of out of state tuition. However, if you declare in state residency after your first year (Like I did) then you will only have to pay in-state tuition and that is very affordable. If you want a stellar education, then Madison will give you one on a silver platter. I vividly remember cheering on the Badgers at football, basketball, and hockey games with guys who have become my friends for life. It was the perfect college experience that anyone could have. Amazing academics, athletics, and social life. Madison's campus has this unique charm and undescribable intellectual atmosphere that fosters new ideas and the constant pursuit of knowledge in the undergrads while maintaining its ever so friendly and warm midwestern charm. The education I received at Wisconsin has made it possible for me to land a job in a well respected NYC law firm by the name of Cravath, Swaine and Moore. I received a combined business and law degree and I intend on working on Wall Street later in my career. Although you will have to talk to your teachers and meet them whilst at Wisconsin—don't be afraid to because they want nothing but the best for you and they want you to achieve your academic potential as much as you do. The people I work with now attended schools such as Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford etc. and they certainly do envy the fact that I am in the same or higher position as them and I have no debt whereas they still have numerous loans to pay off from their collegiate education. I would advise ANYONE who has received admission to UW Madison to TAKE IT WITH NO HESITATION—why would anyone ever want to turn down an exemplary education with an extremely affordable price??????
