What can I say about BU. If you don't mind wearing stilletto's to an 8am class, you'll be set. The apathetic student body just does its own thing with disreguard to everyone else. There is absolutely no school spirit here whatsoever. The campus is rediculously long and narrow. If you live at West Campus or Danielson that 20-30 minute walk to class in stillettos is sure going to reak havok on your feet. The professors are friendly here but very unavailable unless you want to make an appointment. Office Hours should be Hour because most of my professors had reserved about an hour a week for students questions. Premed here is TORTURE. The chemistry and physics classes are some of the hardest within the whole university. The grade deflation really gets to you when you have to work really hard just to get a B+. The city of Boston is amazing except for the fact that everything shuts down at 2am. If you don't like clubbing don't come here, cause BU's frat parties suck. So unless you mind going to MIT, BC, or Tufts for parties and paying for the cab ride back (Tufts is a $30 dollar ride) you're going to be out of luck. |
