I graduated in Spring 2002 with a Math degree and minor in management. The work was pretty demanding and I learned alot. I could have gone to a "better" school such as Rice or UT but decided on UH because of the cost, location and the scholarship money I received. I would recommend UH to anyone who wants a quality education for a reasonable price. If you want an ivy-league atmosphere or alot of on-campus social activities/good athletics, UH might not be the place for you. But if you're here for the education and don't want to leave broke, UH is great. I didn't care for the Honors College because of it's liberal arts orientation. Although I found the courses I took in the Honors College to be interesting and very hard, with alot of student participation. |
