Emerson College is for a very particular student. For certain programs, despite what these people may have said - if you have the talent and the DRIVE then you will make it. Emerson's ties to the "industry" are better than any other college. When it comes down to going to a school there is a difference between getting a History degree at Yale and working at a Home Depot with a lot of knowledge but the inability to get a job as compared to taking the initiative to gain an able-understanding and having a job that utilizes your interests and needs. Emerson is not for the slacker type or for the kid who thinks they are hot shit. Emerson is for the type of person who will get involved and stay involved - not whine and bitch when something is wrong or when something seems to be off kilter. This school is for the open-minded who are ready to grab life by the balls and try to make a name for themselves. Learn from those around you - that is what Emerson is all about. |
