Although the school is beautiful and the a large percent of the faculty are helpful, the students here are extremely closeminded. I haven't yet finished a full year at Grand Valley, but I've been here long enough to know that no matter how into your studies you are, the people around you still matter, and these people make life here worse then it was in high school. I wish more then anything I picked a different school. If you play a sport, you'll fit in. For those of you who don't, go someplace else.
