Graduated over 20 years ago, so not sure how relevant this is today (though judging by some of the comments here the environment has remained similar). Good place to learn - small, safe environment with lots of access to professors. Suits bright students who would feel lost in large campus' and in large classes. Overall, a bit on the quiet side, and there is substantial pressure to conform (ie, very PC). Tends to produce students who are very well suited to get into and do well in graduate school, but also tend to be a bit naive when chucked into the 'real world'.
