By far one of the better law schools in NYC - ranking 4th after NYU, Columbia and Fordham - Brooklyn holds its own very well against its competitors and is regarded highly by employers. The downside is that the elite big firms in NYC only select the highest GPA people from Brooklyn Law. But there are ways to distinguish yourself. I landed excellent internships (federal judge 1L, federal gov't job 2L summer, 2 clinics) by applying early and being persistent. Grades really are just a way to get your resume to the top of the pile but the rest is up to you…
