Ohio Wesleyan tries to promote itself as some sort of wonderful pretigious place, but the fact is that just about anyone can get in here. Its ranking is very low—it just barely made the US News & World Report second tier. Because most of the students aren't up to rigorous coursework, standards have been lowered through the basement floor. If you're a really good student, you'll be able to effortlessly achieve, but you'll be bored stiff. Plus, I've never heard of anyone from OWU going on to attend any prestigious grad schools. Liberal arts colleges can give you a terrific education, but go to a good one, one that is actually selective! |
