Statistical Analyzer:

My experience at FAU was disappointing. The finance department was particularly weak as was the rest of the business school. Professors taught from textbooks only without regard for real life experiences or the use of case studies. The chair of the finance departmet did not understand the business of finance, investments, ect. After graduating I worked on Wall Street as an analyst and had to learn everything on my own. I was not preparedat all for basic analysis. I struggled to get into a top ranked B-School for my MBA. Once in I realized how low the quality of FAU's business education is compared to better schools. Anyone who seeks to gain opportunity from an FAU education is mistaken. It is a very weak, sad excuse for academia.
