brown is a great place for those who are extremely liberal. for me, coming from a more conservative background, its been difficult to adjust. the people here are brilliant even though they might not admit to it. brown is filled with strong personalities. this might be a great thing for many people but i find it hard to relate to the people here even though everyone is very friendly. think twice before coming to brown. the social atmosphere here is definitly a kind of its own. there are many other colleges out there of equal academic caliber.
