Work hard, like your life depended on it. :o) A lot of us have (had) to work to put ourselves through college, but also try to get involved in student activities as much as you can. That's probably my major regret when looking back. Another bit of advice would be to students like myself who "know exactly what they want to do with their life" upon entering college (notice I'm not working in my field of study). Take a couple classes that "don't make any sense" in your major. Try something different, learn something new, take a risk, meet a different-minded set of students than you already see every day in all your major core classes. |
