This college is in a small town that doesn't have much to offer, but the atmosphere here is great. Sometimes we tend to be overlooked due to our size, but what we have to offer are dedicated teachers, faculty, and staff whose goals are to best prepare your for future endeavors and study. We have been called the Harvard of the south and as opposed to GPA's dropping after graduation, most students who move on to four year schools find that their GPS'a actually increase. As is the case with most schools, there will be the occasional closeminded, ignorant comment from a student, but that's life. Taking all that this college has to offer into consideration - athletics(we have one of the best soccer teams in the state), education, professors, resources, and accessibilty - South Georgia College is a wonderful place to live and learn. |
