As with most things, you should look at what kind of school you are choosing to go to - if you want an urban open campus with great academics and a large student population, choose BU - you will not regret it! BU is currently undergoing some major remodeling issues - new gym, new life science, new arena, new housing, remodeled brownstones, and upcoming is a new computer science building and law school! BU does have it's downfalls = freshman housing isn't the nicest, the campus is long and narrow, and there isn't much grass, but overall, BU is a great place to learn. The student body is very liberal and open-minded. Everyone interacts in a friendly way. You will run into snooty people occasionally but that is expected since bu is an expensive private school. There is a large gay population, which the student body seems to be proud of. Most of the classes are moderate or even smaller and the food is great.Come here if you want to experience a liberal education with a liberal student population. |
