First of all, tuition has increased every year for the past 4 years, yet we get NOTHING! Fees are almost as much as your tuition, so don't think you're paying what they advertise. Parking is A JOKE! Before you decide to come to UH, drive around the campus on a Tuesday morning around 11am and see if you can find a spot! There is gridlock in the parking lot, and car accidents all over. UH raises the cost of parking, yet they took away a parking lot from us! There are hald as many spots as there are students. But don't worry, they'll just ticket you and make a little more money. If you ever have a problem and need to speak to anyone in Administration, good luck. Most don't speak English, or they have attitude to boot. They will just push you off on someone else, who will then tell you they can't help you. I must say that the College of Business is one the better colleges at UH, but you pay for it ($170/class fee to be exact), yet you still have to provide your own scantron! Good luck scheduling the classes you need! Like parking, UH offers half as many classes as you need. So you won't get into your classes, and it'll take you summer school or extra semesters to graduate. Once you're in, don't expect to have a seat to sit in. |
