The education it provides is somewhat challenging and you must work for your grades. However, the atmosphere of school itself is something to be desired. The Stern School is overly competitive, with people doing whatever they can to get that elusive internship. You will find that your peers are no smarter than you are, and that they put on this arrogant facade for no reason other than to feel superior to their peers. Stern is very similar to high school. Cliques are rampant and once people make friends, there will be no room to make more. Of course, it is very expensive, but if all you care about is getting a good education and a good job, then by all means apply to NYU. |
