It has good points and bad points. There are not many professors. Don't be surprised if you get one professor for eight classes! If you happen like the professor, that's great, but if you are stuck with a lousy professor, you are in for a rough time. Some of the classes are okay, but often the class discussions are really political and biased. Some of the professors are nice. Some are awful. Some act like they are being put out by having to teach classes. Overall, I would not recommend this school to a lot of people. It is good for people who want to be teachers or nurses. Even so, I would recomment transfering to Rivier as an upper classman. I would not spend the $ on 4 years of the same faces and same Bolognese. Take a few transferable courses at a less expensive college first, particularly foreign language classes. Then, come to Rivier. Don't let the religion and philosophy requirement bother you. Those classes were pretty good. |
