It is a small enough school that you can easily get involved without being intimidated, but large enough you can hide out at various study spots around campus. Some complain GU is closed minded and in some respects it is, however this can be found on any campus and I made it my responsibility to seek out those who want to change the campus and community. Exciting things are happening at GU, those who work for justice are making huge steps and I'm disappointed that I'm just missing this time at GU. I feel as though the administration is two faced. Our executive leadership has a sketchy history. But there are changes in the leadership in the air!Not all of us are A&F types. GU is a great university for those concerned with social justice. If you want to spend your free time in service, than GU is the place for you. It's a small school, be prepared to know/recognize most people. |
