From the moment I became a Christian AND wanted to be a light to others I became controversial with my family, friends and co-workers. I then fit in God's plan, but I no longer seemed to fit in other people's. Now I know that this is a trademark of the passionate Christian. You will find that BJU is controversial… But, take comfort! It's for all the right reasons! Let us be passionate! At BJU you will be trained to handle life in the REAL world. You will, of course, not beieve this if you think that the real world consists of what you hear from alleged "smart people" on TV or what other "smart -but spiritually weak- people" tell you personally. There is a spiritual battle out there. Most people are unaware of this and, so they don't make a difference in the world. They are not "ahead of the game." After BJU, we WILL be "ahead of the game."

ACCREDITATION

I am glad that BJU CHOOSES not to be told how to operate by outside accreditation agencies. If you believe that God wants you in some other institution out there, that's your problem. But if you trust that God sent you here, then why worry about accreditation? Your credits or degree WILL be accepted in the next school without doubt. While MANY colleges do not advertise that they accept unaccredited credits/degrees the truth is that they do have processes and conditions set up for their acceptance. Like you, I have heard lots of testimonies of this, and have done my own research. Other people have too. Look into the following DISCUSSION GROUP/FORUM (very informative, non-christian)and read all the posts. There you will find LISTS OF COLLEGES that will, MAYBE after some assesment, condition or testing period, ACCEPT our "unaccredited" degrees/credits. GO TO:

collegehints.com/boards/showthread.php?t=578

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!

GOD HAS GREAT PLAN FOR EACH ONE OF US!

THE LIST in this website only scratches the surface. There are more.

Here at Bob Jones U, I dont focus on the rules. They are a great starting point from where to develop our own rules of life and conduct for when we move on. Soon enough, we WILL be immersed in a world without rules, without right or wrong, without authority figures to obey. Let us taste these rules for a little while… Some of them will stick with us anyway, no doubt! Enjoy BJU while you can, there is no other place like it… for all the right reasons!
