Attended NYU many years ago for graduate work and found that it was by and large very good, although it really was important to hand select the professors rather than the courses. Professors with good credentials don't always make the best teachers. The professors I selected were excellent. While everyone was very nice and polite, it might not be great for undergraduate work. However, I lived in NJ so that might account for the difference - Full time, live in city might make a difference. Overall, academics were good depending upon the professor but the atmosphere was a little cold. |
