While both of these accomplishments were fine within the 200 acre perimeter of the university, neither mattered much in the vast expanse of the "real" world. BJ does confirm many of the principles the students arrive with their first day. They (BJ) augment this with a continuation of "what to think." The weakness of BJ philosophy is that it fails to address "how to think." The scripture admonishes us to be ready to give a "reason" for our hope. This was not instilled at BJ. One only has to look at the small percentage of alumni who are actually members of the "Alumni Association", to ascertain former students' perception of their education and subsequent loyalty to the school. |
