country, the coursework and opportunities for undergrads
there rival Stanford or MIT. My degree was very much respected in interviews and I could count on finding sympathetic alumni anywhere I went to work. The prestige
of the school is less pronounced on the East Coast, where
everyone collectively worships the Ivys, but I found
that I learned things getting my BSEE that helped me
embarass and outshine Harvard and MIT PhDs when it came time to actually know something relevant. |
