Statistical Analyzer:

I'm a music school musical theater performance major at Oklahoma City University. I can't tell you how much I've learned and…more importantly…I've grown in two years. I transfered from another well known MT school on the East Coast. A place where you are not a person but who they want to turn you into. A palce where individuallity is not approved. The teachers created a cut throat atmosphere and you lived in the fear of the being cut from the program.

That's not Oklahoma City University. It's a place that helps you define what you are and gives you the tools to achieve that. Beacuse the enrollment is not large like other schools (which makes it harder to get in), the teachers know who you are and are able to help you on a one-on-one basis. I can approach any of my teachers and they are willing to meet with me outside class time to work on my situations.

Having researched 30 MT schools before making my choice, I can honestly say that OCU is the best. It's also much less expensive that the other big names. I would highly recommend that you audition early so you can get good scholarship money. I auditioned in Novemeber and got a good scholarship as opposed to my friend who auditioned in March and got half.

With Tony winning alumni, OCU is a school you should look at if you are serious about a musical theater career.
