I'm a junior at Case and I think that a minority of people are negative and spend their time playing videogames, but for people that want to have fun they can definitely find fun things to do on the weekends and weekdays. There's The Spot on Wednesdays, you can go down to the flats for college nights on Thursdays (girl's you don't have to be 21) a lot of fraternity parties and apartment parties, and you don't have to be in greek life to go to these parties either, contrary to what some might say. There are people here from all over that are friendly and nice, you just have to be open to meeting new people. And yes you do have to study a lot, but a social life is not out of the question. A lot of people, including myself, have a decent social life, are involved in the campus, are in clubs, yet still make the dean's list and get good grades. At Case there is a lot of complaining about the lack of partying, but there are definitely at least two parties a weekend that are usually good and on some weekends there are endless strings of parties that you can't even make all of them. My advice is if you come to Case then take advantage of the unique student body and get involved because it's easy to do and fun. I would also recommend joining greek life. Even though most of my close friends are not greek I still think it's a great experience. |
