The school claims it has the 3rd best housing in the country, but not if you're a sophomore or freshman. Yes, there are dorms like palaces, but there's not enough of this housing to meet the need. the rest of the housing is pretty crowded and substandard.Food service is expensive and rather bad. It's difficult to get a nutritious, reasonably priced meal here … At $40K/year, services, professors, and fellow students should be a lot better than they are. If you really want to go to school in DC, look at the other schools here too—Georgetown, American, George Mason, Catholic. GW is really trendy now, and growing much too fast for services to keep up with demand. YThe value just isn't there. |
