Statistical Analyzer:

First of all, as you probably are aware, UF is a very large school. This is advantageous socially beacause no matter who you are, you will be able to find a group of friends. The student body is mostly composed of white, athletic, very intelligent, all-american type students. We probably have the most attractive students you will find. Every student I have met has been very intelligent (I believe the average SAT for incoming freshman is 1300+), but many students tend to prioritize partying over their education. Socially, partying, clubbing, and sports are very popular. Although I do not drink much and fit in fine, I am definitely in the minority. Academically, UF is honestly as hard as you make it. There are plenty of easy courses that will enable you to coast through school if you choose. There are also just as many hardcore courses to satisfy your intellectual hunger. The pre-med, engineering, sciences are very challenging. Political science can be very demanding or pretty lightweight, depending upon who you take and what you make of it. As I alluded to earlier, UF is all about what you make of it. If you don't put any effort in, you probably won't be sitting too pretty come graduation. I think this applies to most schools. It is a tremendous value and students have the potential of attaining a very valuable education.
