It is, obviously, a recognizable name that represents its students, graduates, and professors for their lifetime. Having The Ohio State University on any transcript is great…just wait. But, you have to understand that there is no room for mistakes. You can't mess around with your classes; you have to give them all of your attention regardless of what program you are in. Quarters are nice and short, but sometimes that leaves no time for you to bring your grades back up. So, remain a serious student and you should be fine. Also, even though this one of the biggest schools in the United States, it doesn't feel all that different than the tiny private high school I attended or the small community college I went to first. You can still meet and get to know as many people as you wish just stay open-minded and approachable. You can make college the experience you want it to be. Overall in terms of choosing Ohio State as MY school, it was the best decision I've ever made. I love it; no ifs, no ands, no buts. |
